About Ms. McGee
"It didn't take long before I knew this was the place for me!"
Hello! My full name is Nicole McGee and I am ecstatic to be teaching 6th grade Humanities at Mountain View Middle School! This will be my fourth year teaching in the United States, and I couldn't be happier to be where I am. During graduate school, I was fortunate to be placed at Mountain View for student teaching. It didn't take long before I knew this was the place for me!
Before coming to Mountain View, I completed my undergraduate degree at Portland State University and my graduate degree at Concordia University. I also tested out my teaching skills in Germany and Mexico, where I taught English to a range of grades. I couldn't see myself doing anything else!
In my spare time, I enjoy roller skating, hiking, reading, drinking coffee, cheering at Winterhawks hockey games, and sharpening my Spanish skills. When I can, I try to sneak up to Seattle to visit my family, enjoy the city where I grew up, and go to a Seattle Seahawks game.
